Sardonyx é uma banda de power metal Cristão da Pensylvania. Foi fundada em 1988 por Rod Feltman, Tim Swarthout, Chuck Turner, Michael Anthony Simione e Tom Denlinger. Depois de lançar uma demo em 1990, intitulado "Rebel Of Reason", o seu primeiro e único álbum completo, "Serenity Majestic", foi lançado em 1992. A banda se separou em 1994, mas em 2002 anunciou o retorno às atividades. Em 2005 um novo EP "Linear Progression" foi lançado. 2007 o álbum "Serenity Majesty" e a Demo "Rebel of Reason" foram reelançados pela Retroative Records.
